Eckartsberga is a small town in Saxony-Anhalt near the Thuringian border, right in the middle of a triangle between Weimar, Jena and Naumburg. The surrounding landscape is very beautiful. |
How to reach us by car:
Coming from the south on the A9 autobahn you drive on at the interchange
Hermsdorfer Kreuz on the A4 autobahn until the exit Apolda (see the map).
Coming from the south and southwest on the A71/73 autobahn you drive on until
the exit Sömmerda (see the map) or at the interchange Kreuz Erfurt on the A4
autobahn until the exit Apolda (see the map).
Coming from the west on the A4 autobahn you drive on until the exit Apolda (see
the map) or at the interchange Kreuz Erfurt on the A71 autobahn until the exit
Sömmerda (see the map).
Coming from the east on the A4 autobahn you drive on until the exit Apolda (see
the map) or on the A14 autobahn until the interchange Dreieck Parthenaue and
then onto the A38 autobahn until the interchange Kreuz Rippachtal and then on
the A9 autobahn until the exit Naumburg (see the map).
Coming from the north and the northeast on the A9 autobahn or the A14 autobahn (until
the interchange Schkeuditzer Kreuz) you drive on on the A9 autobahn until the
exit Naumburg (see the map).
Coming from the north and northwest on the A7 autobahn you drive on until the
interchange Dreieck Drammetal and then on the new A38 Südharz-autobahn until the
exit Eisleben. From this exit then onto the B180 to Querfurt and from Querfurt
then on the B250 via Nebra, Bad Bibra to Eckartsberga.
From the exit Apolda you take the B87 to Apolda and Naumburg. After 25 km you
will see the castle Eckartsburg and the destination Eckartsberga.
From the exit Sömmerda you go on towards Buttstädt (turn left at the first
crossroads after the autobahn exit, on the second turn right). You drive on
until Buttstädt (there you turn left at the first crossroads and go on on the
main road) and then until Eckartsberga.
From the exit Naumburg you follow the B180 towards Naumburg, in Naumburg then
the B87 towards Weimar. After passing the battlefields of 1806 you reach
Eckartsberga.
How to reach us by train:
The nearest station is in Apolda. The nearest ICE stations are in Naumburg and
Weimar. If needed, we can organise a cheap taxi transfer.
